What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I like to play music. I play the guitar, drums and piano. I also like to read fictional books and jump on the trampoline.
What do you enjoy about learning?
What I enjoy about learning is getting to know more things about one specific subject.
You’ve demonstrated so much growth, personally and academically, over the years. Which accomplishments are you most proud of and why?
The personal accomplishment I am most proud of is traveling to Italy with my friend and her family for 17 days. It was the first time I had ever been out of town without my family, much less the country. It was an amazing experience. The academic accomplishment I am most proud of is completing a project in 6th grade called the United Nations Project. I worked on this project for several months and it involved lots of research as well as presenting our final project speaking Spanish.
What are you most excited to learn about this coming school year?
I am most excited about science because we are learning about the human body and how it works.
Can you share how your tutor has helped you?
My tutor helps me with organization and getting all my work done in time. She also shows me how to do things when I am confused. I am so happy that I can work with Kerri, she’s awesome!
