Krista earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Psychology minor from Monmouth College in 2000. After holding a business position at an ocean science company on the east coast for three years, she completed a Masters program at Boston University, earning her M.Ed. degree in Secondary Science Education in 2004. With seven years of experience as an educator in grades 5-8 math and science, Krista has familiarity in both private and charter school communities. Striving to be a lifetime learner, she has taken advantage of professional development opportunities in a variety of areas, including Singapore Math, differentiated instruction, learning disabilities, and robotics. Krista enjoys the one-on-one nature of tutoring and relates to students' individual learning styles. With over ten years of professional tutoring experience, she offers support to students of all ages, but specializes in middle school grades math and science, organization and time management, general homework support, and study skills.
