Kellie earned a B.A. in Leisure Services: Programming Administration from the University of Northern Iowa in 2001. After several years working with Junior High and High School students as a Youth Minister, she went back to school to earn her Teacher’s Certification and Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Arizona State University. She taught all subjects in fourth grade for seven years at a Catholic School in Mesa. Kellie also taught summer school for grades K-6 in math and reading. She was also the Student Council Moderator and worked with 6th-8th grade students planning and organizing school events. She has worked with students in 4th-8th grade to offer homework assistance after school. Kellie has spent a lot of her professional development time becoming familiar with different math strategies, including Singapore Math and Marcy Cook Math. Kellie offers tutoring support in math for K-6 and reading, writing and general homework support for all grades.
