Danchi N earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Psychology from the University of Rochester in 2008. Impacted by volunteer experiences in public education during college, Danchi joined Teach for America in 2008, teaching 7th grade science and math intervention for three years in Phoenix. She went on to earn her M.Ed. degree in Secondary Science Education from Arizona State University in 2010. In 2011, Danchi started teaching Honors and General Chemistry at Camelback High School. Most recently, Danchi became one of two teachers to pioneer Arizona's first Montessori high school at Camelback Montessori College Preparatory, teaching math and science at the honors level. She received her M.Ed. in Secondary Montessori Education in 2014 through Xavier University and her American Montessori Society Credential in 2015. The shift to a Montessori education has been transformative, as she developed skills to fulfill the needs of the whole child through differentiated instruction, individualized attention, and relationship-building. She strongly believes that increasing academic confidence is fundamental to student success and employs constructivist methods to build upon students' prior knowledge. Providing after school tutoring and ACT test preparation for the past four years at Camelback, Danchi provides middle and high school math support through pre-calculus, biology and chemistry support, standardized test prep, and general homework support.
